11/22/2011 FIRST Trip to the US Airforce Mueseum

At the museum, we were told to examine and to focous on the Holocaust. After a short presentation from a Holocaust survivor, Felix Weil, we walked around the the Holocaust exhibit. I was amazed at the rare items they had, actual uniforms, bages, documents, and replicas of the actual walls and the entry gates. There was a replica of the train cars that were 40(passengers)-8(horses/donkeys) but was used to holed from 80-90 Jewish passengers, the main victims of the Holocaust and main target of Adolf Hitlers hate and attacks. My favorite part of the Holocaust museum, however, are the blankets that were made by young childern.
After we veiwed the Holocaust exhibit, we did a scavenger hunt around the meuseum that was mostly focused on planes. As we walked around, I would be the last one. I was engrossed in the wonders and amazement of the planes that surrounded me. We had to stop before we got to see all the planes though. I hope we soon return, it was a fun and great experience for us all.

Daily Prep4: Views on Genocide; Veiws on the Armenian Genocide

My views on genocide and the Armenian Genocide has not changed. I still believe that genocide is wrong and should not be performed in any nation by the leader, nor any one else, any where else. The Armenian Genocide, the Turks, and all of my information in previous  posts, I stand by. I now know that there is MORE to Genocide than just killing. By causing mental/physical harm, distrubting child birth/making it so that a woman cannot give birth to a child, taking a child from one group and giving it to another groups family. Genocide literally means "killing group". I, Katelyn Moe, stand by my views and refuse to repent them.

ADMIT IT!

The Armenian Genocide did occur and it was the Turkish that attacked the Armenian Nation. We should acknowledge that it occurred. If we do, yes our government will be kicked out of Turkey. Yes, the Iraqians will be able to gain power over the Turks. If they do decide to invade and control Turkey then let them. The Turks started this all in the first place. They killed 1.5 MILLION Armenians, the Armenian Genocide, in 1915 and then in 1939 Adolf Hitler took their plans as a template and killed 6 MILLION Jews in Germany, the Holocaust. The Turkish started this all and had followers. They are still DENYING the fact that it did occur.

Classification and Symbolization are the first and second stages of Genocide and are not nessesscarly seen as a problem because of the fact that Classification and Symbolization is nothing more than labels or cliques.

The wish of peace by a leader and the leader is taking extreme measures to ensure peace across his nation, resulting into a massacre when people target a specific group who is standing in the way of the leaders wish for peace. The massacre turns into Genocide, meaning "killing a group".
